Welcome to MENTALK – Paphos Men’s Talking Group
“A Safe Space to Be Heard”

At MENTALK, we understand the unique challenges men face. Whether you’re battling stress, anxiety, depression, or just need a space to talk, we’re here for you. Our group is designed to provide a non-judgmental environment where men can share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

About Us

The purpose of the group is to create a safe and supportive space where men can openly discuss and address their mental health challenges without stigma or judgment.

We aim to raise awareness about men’s issues, promote emotional and physical well-being, and provide resources, tools, and community connections to help men lead healthier and happier lives.

At MENTALK, we want to create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. We aim to achieve this through a weekly, free-to-attend peer-to-peer support group for men aged over 18.

Pafos Mens Group - Walk and Talk for Mental Health

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to provide a supportive and confidential community for men to openly discuss their challenges and worries.  We believe that every man deserves to be heard, and our group offers a space for honest and open conversations about feelings, struggles, and mental well-being.

What we offer

 • Peer Support: Share your story and hear from others who may be facing similar struggles.

Confidentiality: Your privacy is our priority. Everything shared within the group stays within the group.

Guidance: Receive insights and guidance from trained and experienced facilitators and mentors.

Community: Build connections with like-minded men in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.

Why Men’s Mental Health Matters
Breaking the Silence

In today’s society, men are often expected to be strong, resilient, and self-reliant. While these are admirable qualities, they can also create a culture of silence when life gets overwhelming. Many men feel they must carry their burdens alone, leading to feelings of isolation, frustration, and, in some cases, emotional distress.

The statistics

• Men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues compared to women.
• Suicide rates among men are disproportionately higher.
• Many men face untreated depression, anxiety, and stress, which can affect their overall well-being, relationships, and work-life balance.

At our group, we believe that no man should have to suffer in silence. By talking, sharing, and connecting, we can find a way through our problems and build stronger, more resilient communities.
